HCL Discover Installation

Welcome to the HCL Discover Installation course

In this course you can expect to learn about how to install the different capabilities of the HCL Discover solution.  The lessons should be watched in conjunction with the Step by Step guide linked with each lesson, the guide provides additional detailed information to ensure successful installation.

The course covers a typical three server implementation, DNCA, Processing and Reporting server.  Alternative configurations are possible including the introduction of HBR's (Health Based Routers) for managing traffic where multiple DNCA and Processing servers are involved.  Failover, redundancy, or DR scenarios are also achievable but not covered in these lessions.

The learning objectives below are aligned with the server / capability installation order.  Typically defined as: PortalReportingReplayProcessingHBRDNCA and described in more detail with the written guide.
